Fitzwilliam Asset Management operates under the umbrella of one of the world’s largest accountancy networks.
The driving force behind the business, from its inception, was the stated premise that we would endeavour to deliver value to our clients through in-depth research and tailored investment strategies.
Backed by the significant resources available through BDO LLP, the Fitzwilliam Asset Management team has grown to comprise of respected fund managers, economists, analysts and researchers.
BDO Investment Management is a pioneer in multi-manager investing, launching one of the first ‘Balanced Managed’ Fund of funds in the UK (1995) and in 2006 two innovative products - a commodity fund of funds and a strategic bond fund of funds. These products were designed around the needs of investors, not what is the current vogue in the asset management industry. The funds have won awards and been recognised in the industry for delivering innovative asset allocation strategies and superior manager selection.
The team works closely with BDO Investment Management Corporate Pensions and Benefit Services and its Private Client department. Our innovative approach to asset allocation and product development has attracted significant interest – working with like minded financial firms and advisers to offer their investors access to a range of innovative investment opportunities across a broad range of asset classes.
